Emily Kedar is an award-winning and internationally published poet based in Toronto, Canada.

 

Her work has been featured in The Malahat Review, The Maynard, Willows Wept Review, The Bellevue Literary Review among many other publications. She is currently an MFA candidate at Pacific University.

Emily is a Jewish writer of Czech descent who explores themes of belonging, exile, intergenerational trauma and the complexity of human relationships. She has a passion for beauty of all kinds, and enjoys building creative community and supporting the work of other writers. 

Emily is available as a writing coach for emerging poets, an editor for peers’ work, and as a creative writing workshop leader. She is also available for readings. Please get in touch if you are interested in working with her in any of these capacities.
